Alumni: Where are they now?

FRANK: “I think of you often and of the great foundation Frank received during his year at Westview. He is now 15 and a freshman at the High School for the Performing and Visual arts. He plays the trumpet in the Jazz Band and in the Symphonic Band. He is enjoying being in High School and has made many new friends. His academics definitely challenge him, but he works hard and brings home mostly A’s and B’s, so we are happy with the results. Thank you for being there for so many kids and families.”

LINDSEY: “It is hard to believe that Lindsey left Westview School roughly 15 years ago. She is a sophomore at Cy Fair College and is awaiting acceptance to transfer to Texas A&M. She has done so well and never ceases to surprise us! She is leaving some good friends behind, but has one good friend already at A&M. We still think fondly of Westview and all you guys did to help her to be so successful!”

BRADLEY: “Bradley has entered his second semester of his sophomore year in high school. He still makes all A’s. Bradley played on the JV football team in the fall and should pitch and play first base for the JV baseball team this spring. Bradley remains a conscientious and kind-hearted person. We remain grateful for your help in jump-starting Bradley to reach his intellectual and social potential.”

ROSS: “Ross is still doing great. He plays soccer at the high school and is doing a good job. He is in the top 12% of his class and wants to go to Texas A&M after graduation in 2010. He also coaches a special needs soccer team. There is hardly a day that goes by that Don and I don’t thank God for The Westview School and you and your staff. He will forever be our miracle. He is a typical teenager—always running around with his friends and talking about girls!”

BRYAN: “After Bryan left the Westview School, it was an adjustment for him, getting used to the changing of the classrooms and the time limits, but he survived. He made it through last year with A’s and B’s. He worked really hard! He took Music at Foster High School and was in charge of the computer and installing the music onto the screen for the special needs students and helping to organize the choir performances. Bryan has loved participating in University of Texas studies because he wants to help them find a cure for autism.
