Sadly, we mourn the loss of our Founder and Head of School, Jane Stewart. Jane passed away on November 11, 2010. We are all devastated to have lost our leader, mentor and friend. We will carry on her vision at The Westview School. It will continue to be a place of hope, growth and learning for children with learning differences.

Westview School Embraces Autistic Children

In May 2007, FOX 26 aired a "FOX in Focus" series about special needs children in Houston and the educational options available to them.  FOX 26's reporter, Greg Groogan conducted an in-depth interview with Jane Stewart, Director of The Westview School.
