Autistic children often have gross motor difficulties, fine motor difficulties or both. Activities are built into the daily classroom schedule to strengthen both gross and fine motor skills. The children have routinely scheduled motor classes, in addition to their regular classroom activities. Occupational therapists are also on staff to offer individual therapy and consult with the teachers in the classroom setting. Classroom modifications assist students in developing motor skills.
Mom's Day - All moms are invited to visit their child’s class for the day. They get to see what their child does in a typical day at school.
