Preschool classes have five children in a group with a teacher and an assistant. Children are grouped together primarily by receptive language and learning readiness
Children who are basically understanding at the same level are grouped together, although expressive language levels may vary.
Four groups of children move to specialty teachers for intervention in pre-academics, language, sensory motor and social/play skills. This not only gives each child at least one half hour daily of intervention in each skill area, but teaches them to generalize and transition. Additional activities for the preschool are music, art, library, playground and field trips.
Dad's Day - All dads come to spend the day at school with their children. They work and play through a typical day at school in their child’s class.
