In this important Westview EDU session, Westview’s own Katie Hazeldine joins Officer Larry Boggus of the Memorial Villages Police Department to share practical ways families can build meaningful partnerships with local law enforcement. Congratulations to Asten in Middle School for being a Wonder Wall Winner for Cooperation. Asten is a responsible student who puts forth great effort to learn and complete his schoolwork. He doesn’t give up when faced with challenging academics and perseveres until he learns the content. He is the student council president and has taken on a leadership role by making suggestions on behalf of his peers. Asten has a strong sense of right and wrong and will look out for others. Way to go, Asten! We are all very proud of you.

We are so proud of Lukas in Upper Elementary for being a Wonder Wall Winner for Responsibility. Lukas shows responsibility by completing assignments and being ready to learn. When he doesn’t understand something, he asks questions and seeks help when he needs it. He takes pride in his work and is a role model for his classmates. Lukas is motivated to learn new things and keeps his work area clean and tidy. Lukas has worked hard for this honor, and we are so proud of him. Congratulations, Lukas!

Hooray to Henry in Prekindergarten for being a Wonder Wall Winner for Responsibility. At the start of the year, Henry focused on adjusting to school, building independence, and managing a few challenging behaviors. Now, he comes home excited to share what he’s learned and is even exploring concepts beyond the typical PreK curriculum. He’s especially enthusiastic about the “A is a vowel” song. Earlier in the year, Henry was focused on basic pre-writing skills and had not yet begun identifying letters expressively. Now, he absorbs new material like a sponge. His progress has been remarkable, and both he and his parents deserve this win - truly something to celebrate.
