Westview EDU | Routines That Work: Executive Functioning at Home

Category: 2025-2026

Date: January 8, 2026

Time: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM

Ever wonder why your child struggles to get out the door, start homework, or follow through on tasks, even when they know what to do?

We’re kicking off the new year of Westview EDU with a practical session on executive functioning. Join us on Thursday, January 8, 2026, for Westview EDU | Routines That Work: Executive Functioning at Home.

Cori Beach, Westview’s Coordinator of Student, Family, and Community Engagement, will give parents insight into skills that help kids plan, organize, manage time, and handle daily routines. For autistic and neurodivergent students, these skills can be especially tricky, but the right supports at home can make a big difference.

Join us to explore strategies for building routines, supporting time awareness, and encouraging responsibility through chores and daily tasks. You’ll see real examples, leave with actionable tools, and gain resources to help your child build independence and confidence at home.

A helpful reset for any family looking to start the year with fresh, effective routines.

This event will be held in person in Largent Hall on The Westview School campus. Zoom attendance will be available by request. All attendees, both virtual and in-person, should register for the event.
