Westview EDU | Think Forward: Why Transition Planning Matters at Every Age
Category: 2025-2026
Date: April 9, 2026
Time: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
Transition planning isn’t something that starts in high school; it starts in early childhood and grows and develops along the way. Join us for our final Westview EDU of the school year on Thursday, April 9, at 9:15 AM in Largent Hall. We are excited to welcome back to Westview, Brandi Timmons, Education Visionary from Incuentro. She will discuss the topic: Think Forward: Why Transition Planning Matters at Every Age. Brandi will share how thoughtful, age-appropriate planning helps students build independence, confidence, and real-world skills at every stage of development.
From early childhood through young adulthood, she will share practical ways families and educators can support growth and prepare students for the next steps.
This event will be held in person in Largent Hall on The Westview School campus. Zoom attendance will be available by request. All attendees, both virtual and in-person, should register for the event.
