We hope you’ll join us for the first Westview EDU of the school year on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 9:15 AM at Westview High School. Westview EDU | Self-Advocacy Starts Early: Teaching Kids to Understand, Express, and Support Their Own Needs.

Heather Webster, M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Pathologist at The Stewart Center, will discuss how self-advocacy skills develop early and share practical strategies that parents and caregivers can use to help children recognize their needs, communicate what works for them, ask for help, and build confidence in speaking up for themselves.

Please note our new location: This year, all Westview EDU sessions will be held in the Westview High School Lunchroom in the 1818 Building. Enter through Gate 4. Zoom attendance will also be available by request. All attendees, both in person and virtual, must register for the event.
