Screens are part of daily life, but when it comes to our children, how do we keep them from taking over?
Join us on Thursday, October 9 at 9:15 AM in Largent Hall for our next Westview EDU. Westview is excited to welcome Dr. Kimberley Harrison, who will share insights from her book, Screentime as Dessert: A Parent’s Guide to Reclaiming Children from Device Overuse. This important conversation will explore how families can balance technology use and build healthy habits for life.
Dr. Harrison is a clinical psychologist who helps parents and children navigate challenges at home and school. She speaks locally and nationally on how to support children in overcoming obstacles to being their best selves. As a well-known researcher, presenter, and founder of The Conative Group, Dr. Harrison brings expertise on screentime, ADHD, executive functioning, learning and emotional issues, autism spectrum disorders, and parenting. This is a not-to-miss Westview EDU.
Please note: This Westview EDU will be held in person only. A recorded link will be shared with all registered participants after the event.
This event will be held in person in Largent Hall on The Westview School campus. All attendees are required to register for the event.
