About Us

The Stewart Center at The Westview School is a therapeutic clinic staffed by professionals with specialized training in the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. The Stewart Center serves children, adolescents and their families both from The Westview School and from the community, offering art therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and individual/family therapy. You do not have to be a student at The Westview School to receive services at The Stewart Center.

Why The Stewart Center

The staff at the Stewart Center are sensitive to the needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. They are very familiar with the ways these disorders can introduce unique challenges for students as learners and for families. The Stewart Center works with children and adolescents with attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, language disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders and adoption-related problems. Our staff also works with neurotypical children and adults. We truly serve the entire family. 

Our Services

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy assessment services are conducted by appropriately credentialed and trained Occupational Therapists.

Speech Therapy

Speech and Language Therapy is offered by highly trained, certified speech-language pathologists (SLPs).

Psychotherapy

Individual and group therapy sessions offered by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor

 

Payment and Fees

While we are considered "Out of Network" by most insurance companies, our staff can provide you with documentation so that you can be reimbursed through your insurance company for eligible services.
