Our Campus

Westview’s eight-acre campus includes three buildings, each thoughtfully designed to support our students’ needs at every stage.

The Lower School, located on the north end of campus, is home to our Early Childhood Development through Lower Elementary classes, as well as the school’s administration and business offices. Inside, you’ll find 11 classrooms, a science lab, and a multipurpose room, along with spaces that support student health and growth, including a health clinic, occupational therapy gym, motor room, therapy rooms, and a behavioral support office.

At the center of campus, the Upper School houses our Upper Elementary and Middle School programs. This building features seven classrooms, a science lab, a library, an art room, and a music room. Students also benefit from a social and living skills room with a kitchen and a full gym/auditorium with a stage for performances and events.

On the south side of campus, the High School provides spaces for advanced learning and independence. It includes five classrooms, a science lab, a technology lab, a PAES lab, and a large student lunchroom designed to foster community among our students.

Outdoor Learning Spaces

To facilitate outdoor learning, Westview boasts an outdoor classroom, amphitheater, and nature garden. Students contribute to the nature garden by planting flowers and learning how to water and take care of the plants. The outdoor spaces on campus also include two covered playgrounds, a walking track, and an outdoor recreation space designed specially to meet the needs of our older students.

Library

Westview is home to a newly expanded and upgraded library that serves students across all grade levels with a wide selection of age-appropriate books. Our librarian fosters a love of reading year-round through creative activities such as “Spooky Reading” with flashlights, “Campfire” storytelling, book character visits, reading dogs, book fairs, and more. Younger students especially look forward to visits from Middle School guest readers, while Upper Elementary and Middle School students enjoy the annual Spring Read-a-thon. From Early Childhood Development through Middle School, every student visits the library weekly to check out books and build their reading skills.

Track, Soccer Field, & Playgrounds

Some of our best learning takes place on the playground! In addition to PE and Motor classes, students are provided opportunities to move their bodies and get outdoors for fun in the sun and additional social time. Our teachers facilitate social activities while also allowing students to navigate social opportunities independently.
