Camp at Westview is an exciting, organized and fun summer for all our campers. It is staffed by Westview teachers and assistants, as well as area high school and college student volunteers and former Westview students. Two three-week sessions help students to maintain skills while having fun in an engaging learning environment.
Campers also explore the community through field trips and hands-on projects. For our younger participants, the days are filled with water play, music, art, science, sports/motor activities and much more. For older campers, our program offers engaging educational activities, social skills practice, cooking and community field trips.
Ensuring that each camper's needs are met while they're at Summer Camp, additional programs include:
Group therapy, such as Art Therapy, LEGO Group, PAWS, Picky Eaters, and more, are also available through The Stewart Center. Please visit The Stewart Center website for more information and a full list of offerings.
Speech and Occupational Therapy (available through The Stewart Center)
Summer Camp activities are for currently-enrolled Westview students and their siblings, as well as former students*.
Summer Camp is held Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
*Former students must submit recent psycho-educational evaluations and additional paperwork in order to ensure that their needs can be met at camp. These applications will be reviewed by administration and a decision will be made as to whether we can accommodate these students.
