Westview EDU | Navigating the Changes - A Talk on Puberty in Autism

Puberty can be challenging for any teenager, but it can be especially difficult for youth on the autism spectrum. Join us for Thursday, April 11 at 9:15 AM when Westview EDU welcomes Amy K. Izuno-Garcia, PhD, NCSP, Licensed Psychologist with UTHealth Houston. She will help to prepare parents for what changes to expect as puberty approaches and how best to navigate them. Parents will learn how to identify changes autistic youth undergo during puberty, learn ways to talk to your children about puberty, and learn valuable resources on puberty and autism.
