Our family’s journey with The Westview School has been transformative, especially for our two boys, Kaden and Charlie. Each of them started their time at Westview, facing unique challenges, but through dedication, patience, and the incredible support of the school, they’ve both made incredible strides.
Kaden, now 13, began at Westview in the first grade. Back then, he was a happy and energetic child but struggled with expressing his feelings and faced difficulties in reading and academics. He always had a bright smile, but it was hard for him to find the words to tell us about his day or how he was feeling. Over the past five years, we have seen Kaden blossom into a confident young man. His reading has improved tremendously, and he’s become much more social with his peers. Watching him engage with his classmates, comfortably sharing stories and conversations, fills our hearts with pride. His academic progress has been steady, and while there’s always more work to be done, his growth since those early days is nothing short of remarkable.
Charlie, our youngest, is now ten. He began his journey at Westview in Kindergarten. At that time, he was significantly behind in both verbal communication and academic skills. Watching him struggle to find words and keep up with his classmates was tough. But after three years at Westview, Charlie has made incredible progress. His reading has improved so much that he now reads books to Mom every night, a ritual we all cherish. Hearing him excitedly recount what happened at school and share stories about his day is a joy we never take for granted.
The support we’ve received from Westview, along with generous donations that have provided additional tutoring for both Kaden and Charlie, has been crucial to their success. We’re so thankful for the way the school has nurtured their strengths and helped them overcome challenges. Our family’s experience at Westview has been nothing short of life-changing, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our boys.
To help ensure that other families can experience the same transformative support, we encourage you to contribute to the Westview Annual Fund. Your donation will make a lasting difference in the lives of children like Kaden and Charlie, helping them reach their fullest potential.
