Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the exceptional environment that Westview provides and the significant impact that it has had on our family. Finding the right school for our daughter, Claire, was a journey filled with uncertainty. At her very first preschool conference, we learned that she seemed “young” compared to her peers. She struggled with her motor skills and was often frustrated in a loud and busy classroom. We thought moving to a smaller school would help, but she still faced difficult drop-offs and a lack of academic progress. Claire has always been a bright and curious girl, and we knew she was capable of great achievement if we could find a place where she felt safe enough to let her guard down and learn
Westview turned out to be that place. Now in her fourth year, Claire is eager to attend school daily. She isn’t afraid to go to the board in front of her teachers and peers and try her best. In just a few years, her teachers have taught her how to write, read, draw, ask for help, make friends, reset after a hard day, and more. The patience, positivity and understanding shown by every single teacher have been instrumental in helping Claire build her self-confidence and progress academically.
At Westview, Claire feels understood, valued, and loved, which is more than we could have ever hoped for. We are so grateful for the strides she has made and for the hope and joy that this special school has brought to our lives. By donating to Westview, you will be directly impacting students on the autism spectrum and their entire families. Your support is invaluable, and we can think of no greater gift than giving children the confidence and tools that they need to succeed in school and in life.
